OUR VALUE PROPOSITION
A more technical exploration for how we can help
The expansion of internet shopping & increasing demand for faster shipping times have created a unique opportunity that can be used for good:
New uni-directional supply chains have created heavily-discounted secondary markets:
The same, newly developed, complex supply chains that allow for the efficient distribution of goods, provide an opportunity for us to help those most in need.
These supply chains were designed to function in one direction (getting goods to consumers) and are not able to properly re-distribute items that are returned by customers. Without a cost effective way to take back returns, items are often sold, in bulk, at secondary liquidation markets, for significant discounts.
Although these items may be written off as losses for retailers, they have significant practical value to those who can’t afford them at retail price.
By purchasing and re-distributing these lots, we are able to obtain useful items at a significant discount and obtain a better value on contributions targeted at supporting under-resourced communities.
